So long
as the Sun doth shine,
may
Love, Peace and Joy be thine.
When
clouds of loneliness gather, and thunderous silence roars;
It takes a
painful flash of lightning sometimes
to see
that you never were really alone.
So long,
milove, as the Sun doth shine –
You shall
never have to walk
a single
mile, all on your own.
When dusk
draws close, and the draught gnaws at you,
you will
still find light and warmth
in a swarm
of fireflies.
So long,
milove, as the Sun doth shine -
so shall
glow,
the light
in your eyes.
So long
as the Sun doth shine,
may her courage and might be thine.
Your pen
mayn't yet have learnt to craft exquisite verses that rhyme
The lilt
in your voice may stumble over a note;
failing to
perfect the mellifluous dance.
So long,
milove, as the Sun doth shine -
You are
beautiful just as you are, and
worthy of
one more chance.
After the
tides have turned, and all that you prized
have
slipped through your fingers
like
grains of sand;
So long,
milove, as the Sun doth shine -
trust me,
there will be someone
who needs
just you - your helping hand.
So long
as the Sun doth shine,
may her silent beauty and generous love be thine.
Here in
this battlefield where you fought your biggest wars,
shedding
many a drop of blood; tomorrow -
yellow,
pink and white, roses will bloom.
So long,
milove, as the Sun doth shine -
peace will
be born of your suffering,
hope of
despair, and joy of all gloom.
Grief will
sneak in stealthily, and draw those dark blinds down
But look
up, and you shall find someone at the door
with your
kindness to return; with a little love to give.
So long,
milove, as the Sun doth shine –
Never will
you be in want
of a
reason to live.
So long
as the Sun doth shine,
may the
hope her rays unfurl, be thine.
Fall will
wreck its way through your garden;
spring -
quietly as it came - will leave;
but on the
vine by your windowsill
So long,
milove, as the Sun doth shine -
bright and
green, gently fluttering,
there
shall be one last leaf.
So long as
the nightingale sings and the breeze plants a kiss on your cheek;
So long as
your tears are wiped away; by downpours
from the
skies up above
So long,
milove, as the Sun doth shine -
You will
always find yourself
surrounded
by love.
So long
as the Sun doth shine,
may all things good and benign, be thine.
