Somewhere, there is another sky
out of the thunderstorms’ sight
Somewhere, another dawn erupts
leaving no remnants of the night.
out of the thunderstorms’ sight
Somewhere, another dawn erupts
leaving no remnants of the night.
Somewhere, there is a garden
where the gentle thrushes still sing
Somewhere, hyacinths blossom,
announcing the herald of spring.
Somewhere, the grass is green;
Somewhere, water tastes sweet
and somewhere there exists love
which makes hearts skip a beat.
Somewhere, to the thunder's beats
the peacocks still break into dance.
Somewhere, there's 'happily ever after'
because someone was given a second chance.
Somewhere, when the roaring winds die
After the torrential rain,
Maybe, just maybe, somewhere -
The last leaf still remains.
Somewhere, there is a rainbow
that ends in the proverbial pot of gold.
Somewhere, there is a tomorrow
for all the hope that ailing hearts hold.

And since I am not where I thought I'd be, I am somewhere; and somewhere is the land of dreams
